Het hoeft niet altijd mooi te zijn... En bij Atlético Madrid verwacht je op de duur niets anders meer. Het werd zaterdag 1-0 tegen Leganes.

Het enige doelpunt kwam vroeg in de tweede helft van Saul Niguez: de middenvelder miste eerst zijn penalty, maar trapte alsnog raak in de rebound. Tekenend voor de non-match die het was.

Zo nadert Atléti tot op vier punten van leider Barcelona, dat later wel nog in actie komt tegen Rayo Vallecano.
