De stand of klassement van de Premier League 2024-2025 is waar het ook dit seizoen opnieuw om te doen is. Alle ploegen hopen uiteraard om een zo hoog mogelijke plek in te nemen. Voetbalkrant houdt u op de hoogte van alle uitslagen en de impact hiervan op de stand in de Premier League.

De 20 ploegen in de Premier League kunnen in elke competitiewedstrijd 3 punten verdienen bij een overwinning en 1 punt bij een gelijkspel. Het spreekt voor zich dat de resultaten op elke speeldag telkens voor veranderingen zullen zorgen in het klassement. Na 38 speeldagen zal de eindstand van de competitie bekend zijn, op basis van het aantal behaalde punten en indien nodig nog enkele andere criteria. De ploeg die dan bovenaan het klassement staat in de Premier League 2024-2025 is kampioen.

Stand duidt de kampioen aan

De kampioen speelt net als de nummers 2, 3 en 4 volgend seizoen Champions League. De nummer 5 gaat naar de Europa League. De nummer 6 mogelijk ook en de nummer 7 kan eventueel nog naar de Conference League, maar het lot van die twee ploegen hangt af van de bekerwinnaars. Tot daar de gevolgen voor de teams in de bovenste regionen van het klassement.

Aan de andere kant van de tabel zakken de nummers 18, 19 en 20 naar The Championship. Naast het aantal punten dat elke club heeft verzameld, biedt het klassement ook een overzicht van een aantal andere gegevens, zoals gewonnen matchen, doelpuntensaldo en dergelijke.
