In de Ligue 1 is de stand de weergave van de behaalde punten door de twintig deelnemende ploegen.

Uitslagen bepalen de stand

In de Franse voetbalcompetitie is de stand dus bepaald door de uitslagen. Een ploeg krijgt één punt voor een gelijkspel en drie punten voor een overwinning. U kunt op Voetbalkrant.com terecht voor de Ligue 1-stand.

Gevolgen van de stand

De ploeg die aan het einde van het seizoen bovenaan staat, is de nieuwe Franse landskampioen en gaat samen met de tweede in de Franse competitie in de stand naar de Champions League. De derde uit het Ligue 1-klassement speelt de voorronde van de Champions League, de vierde gaat naar de Europa League. De vijfde uit het klassement plaatst zich voor de voorronde van de Conference League. Nummers 17 tot en met 20 degraderen naar de Ligue 2.
