Sarr van Rennes mag een buiging maken

Het allermooiste doelpunt kregen we in Rennes te zien. Ismaila Sarr vlamde van ver recht in de kruising, wat een goal! Het hielp Rennes ook aan een 2-1 zege tegen Jablonec. Ook Lazio won met dezelfde cijfers van Apollon, Olympique Marseille verloor in eigen huis van Frankfurt.

Steven Gerrard heeft er duidelijk wat veerkracht ingepompt bij zijn team. Ze kwamen immers twee keer terug van een achterstand in Villarreal, waar Bacca al na één minuut voor de openingsgoal zorgde. Chelsea kon dan weer rekenen op één doelpunt van Willian voor een zuinige zege bij PAOK.
