Barcelona- Getafe eindigde op een scoreloos gelijkspel

Barcelona is in Camp Nou niet verder geraakt dan 0-0 tegen middenmotor Getafe. Lionel Messi en co toonden zich bijzonder inefficiënt voor doel.

Barcelona kon mits winst 10 punten uitlopen op eerste achtervolger Atlético Madrid. Het moest daarvoor wel voorbij Getafe, de nummer 10 uit de Primera Division. Barcelona begon met een onuitgegeven defensie: Vermaelen was nog altijd geblesseerd en Piqué zat op de bank. Winteraankoop Yerry Mina maakte zijn competitiedebuut.

Inefficiënt

In de eerste helft viel niet bijster veel doelgevaar te noteren. Messi claimde tevergeefs een strafschop, na obstructie in de zestienmeter. Luis Suarez scoorde, maar werd terecht afgevlagd voor buitenspel. Na de koffie had Barcelona wel voldoende kansen om de wedstrijd uiteindelijk winnend af te sluiten. Suarez, Yerry Mina en Coutinho faalden echter. Getafe-doelman Guaita keepte wel een sterke partij.

Zo eindigde de wedstrijd zoals ze begonnen was: 0-0. Barcelona blijft leider en heeft 7 punten voorsprong op de nummer twee Atlético Madrid. Real Madrid volgt al op 17 punten.
