The Confederation of African Football (CAF) heeft het eiland Comoros in de Indische Oceaan officieel erkend als CAF-lid. Net voor de start van The African Nations Cup, begin volgend jaar in Tunesië, zal Comoros als 53ste lid aan de CAF worden toegevoegd.
