Club Brugge is morgen pas aan zet. Dinsdagavond komen zestien andere clubs al in actie op speeldag 3 in de Champions League.

Om 18u55 uur trapten Young Boys en Valencia de matchdag op gang, mét een Rode Duivel aan het kanon. Kort voor het halfuur zette Batshuayi de Spanjaarden op voorsprong.

Onze landgenoot glipte prima door de buitenspelval om de 0-1 in doel te deponeren. Zijn tweede doelpunt voor de club uit de sinaasappelstad. Vroeg in de tweede helft kwam Young Boys langszij na een penaltygoal van Hoarau. Die score bleef op het bord staan.

In de andere vooravondwedstrijd won Bayern München met 0-2 bij AEK Athene. Javi Martinez en de onvermijdelijke Lewandowski zorgden voor de goals.
