Arsenal en Liverpool delen de punten

De topper van speeldag 11 in de Premier League werd in het Emirates Stadium betwist. Daar kreeg Arsenal Liverpool over de vloer.

The Gunners moesten vorige week de concurrenten laten gaan na een 2-2-gelijkspel tegen Crystal Palace. Ook nu morsten ze met de punten. Milner maakte er op het uur 0-1 van. Voor rust had ook Mané al gescoord voor Liverpool, maar diens treffer werd afgekeurd voor buitenspel. (zie video onderaan)

De 0-1 bleef lange tijd op het scorebord staan, tót diep in de tweede helft. Lacazette profiteerde van onzorgvuldig uitkomen van Alisson om de gelijkmaker in doel te droppen.

Leider Man City en Chelsea kunnen profiteren. Beide clubs komen zondag nog in actie.
