De vijftiende speeldag van de Premier League gaat voor de verandering door in het midden van de week. Dinsdag stonden al vier duels op het programma, met onder meer Manchester City.
Het werd een 1-2 zege op het veld van Watford. Manchester City domineerde op alle vlakken met ook doelpunten van Sané en Mahrez, al zorgde de late aansluitingstreffer van Doucoure wel nog voor een razendspannend slotoffensief. Kompany en Kabasele maakten hun rentree. (lees hier meer)
Depoitre en invaller Mbenza kenden minder succes met Huddersfield, zij verloren 2-1 tegen Bournemouth.
