UEFA duidt topref aan voor Manchester City-Club Brugge

Woensdag gaat Club Brugge bij Manchester City op zoek naar een stunt in de Champions League. De UEFA heeft alvast een topref aangeduid voor deze affiche.
Niemand minder dan Mateu Lahoz moet de wedstrijd tussen City en Club in goede banen leiden. Lahoz floot in zijn carrière al 36 wedstrijden op het kampioenenbal.
De 44-jarige Spanjaard floot afgelopen seizoen de finale van de Champions League. Daarin ging Manchester City met 0-1 onderuit tegen Chelsea. Het was de wedstrijd waarin Kevin De Bruyne onzacht in aanraking kwam met Antonio Rüdiger.
Twee weken geleden ging Club Brugge in eigen huis met zware 1-5-cijfers onderuit tegen een impressionant Manchester City.
